Dr. Bradford McGuire Jr. was a collegiate quarterback at University of Louisiana Lafayette who completed medical school at FSU College of Medicine and his Emergency Medicine residency training with us at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville. He was a father, son, brother, physician and colleague. He was well-loved by everyone he met and had a unique ability to bring the most positive perspective to even the most trying times in the ED. On the field or in the ED, he was the quarterback you wanted leading your team.

He was in a tragic accident on June 15th and leaves behind his son Cal, his soon to be fiancé Dr. Kasi Hartman, his parents Brad and Kari, his 8 siblings and his ShandsFam. He touched the hearts of so many of us over the course of his time at UFJax.
